An in-depth multi-omic molecular characterisation of poly(adenosine 5'-diphosphate [ADP]-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors revealed a distinct poly-pharmacology of niraparib (Zejula®) mediated by its interaction with lanosterol synthase (LSS), which is not observed with other PARP inhibitors.
