MAGEA4 is a cancer-testis antigen primarily expressed in the testes but aberrantly overexpressed in several cancers. MAGEA4 interacts with the RING ubiquitin ligase RAD18 and activates trans-lesion DNA synthesis (TLS), potentially favouring tumour evolution.
