CONCLUSIONS: ENEC and ESCC exhibit distinct clinicopathological features. Patients with ENEC experience significantly poorer survival outcomes compared to those with ESCC. Surgical intervention, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy significantly improve OS and DSS for ENEC patients.
